Community Engagement & Audience Development Manager
Deadline: MONDAY 12th MATCH 2018, 5PM
We are looking for a Community Engagement & Audience Development Manager to join the team! This is a new post for the project which has been created to provide a dedicated focus on community engagement for the programme. We are looking for an experienced, well-networked manager with a proven and successful track record in this field.
You will be responsible for ensuring that CBD is locally-owned through embedding outstanding engagement practice at the heart of the programme and sharing this best practice and the programme’s outcomes locally and nationally, in line with the projects mission and vision.
The role will oversee the development and implementation of a new strategic plan for the Cultural Connectors programme, help to create a learning programme to share best practice both locally and nationally, and help to shape the legacy for CBD when the project ends.
CBD is core funded by Arts Council England's Creative People and Places programme and supported by Barking and Dagenham Council. It is overseen by a group of organisations with a proven commitment to Barking and Dagenham and a real ambition for the borough's cultural scene. These are: Studio 3 Arts (the group's lead organisation and CBD's office HQ); Barking and Dagenham Council, Barking and Dagenham CVS, Barking and Dagenham College and Barking Enterprise Centre.
Interested? We want to hear from you!
