Get Creative: Call out for Local Coordinators

Deadline for applicatons: Monday 5th February 2018, 9am

During the first phase of CBD we delivered the Neighbourhood Commissioning Fund. It was created as a programme to support six-month-long artist-led projects, in specific areas of the Borough. Get Creative is a new programme strand, for the second phase of CBD, informed by the experiences of the Neighbourhood Commissioning Fund.

The aim of Get Creative is to commission regular creative classes or workshops, in targeted areas of low provision, for adult attenders. It is also aimed at supporting emerging artists and creative practitioners from the Cultural Connector network, to provide them with opportunities to gain experience in leading and coordinating classes. In turn, this is aimed at building capacity within the local arts sector, so that artists and creative practitioners from the Cultural Connector network may play a greater role in the wider arts sector in the future.
