Funding opportunities this Summer!
Supporting Creative Events AND ACTIVITIES for New Audiences
We are seeking applications for the REACH fund for your events and activities taking place in Barking and Dagenham.
We are also seeking applications for Community Commissions for DAGFEST 2018 taking place on Saturday 7th July 2018.
The deadline for both of these applications is Friday 4th May at 5pm.
Applying to REACH:
The REACH fund provides funding of up to £500 to support marketing or artists costs for confirmed events taking place in Barking and Dagenham. The aims are to:
- Enable promoters of arts events to more effectively market their events to new audiences in the borough.
- Support community events organisers to strengthen the artistic content of events through help with commissioning artists.
In both cases, in addition to the financial support of up to £500 from the REACH fund, the CBD team will provide advice and support with marketing for new audiences and commissioning artists.
Applying for a Community Commission
We are looking to commission Barking and Dagenham based organisations or artists to either create new content or bring existing work to our annual DAGFEST festival which this year takes place on Saturday 7th July. The purpose of the festival is to provide a huge range of participatory, fun, and lively arts activities on the doorstep in Dagenham.
We can offer up to £500 for you to bring your work on the day; this should include the cost of any materials, artist fee and travel.
