Roll up Roll up! Bring your stall to DAGFEST 2019!
Please register your interest by 4th April 2019 at 12pm.
We are looking for a variety of stallholders to come and join us for out fifth year of DAGFEST. As with every year, our festival is steered by a group of Cultural Connectors and we can’t wait to bring local residents to the village again for a day of outdoor arts, performances and interactive fun. Last year we had a brilliant line up of acts and this year is no exception! Celebrating our 5th year popping up in the village our themes are celebrations, birthdays and street parties.
DAGFEST is taking place on Saturday 15th June 2019 between 12pm – 5pm.
We welcome a cross section of stall applications, from food, to craft as well as not for profit organisations in the borough. We work hard to ensure a balance of stalls at the festival for our audiences to enjoy! Our festival steering group will make decisions about the stalls considering the following criteria:
How appropriate is the stall for the festival? As a vibrant, family friendly festival we want to ensure the stalls appeals to, and suit our audiences in the borough.
This year we have added a question about how you will encourage people to engage with your stall.
A good range and variety of Stalls. This year we will prioritise stalls that haven’t been to the festival before.
Value for money. We want to ensure DAGFEST is an affordable day out for all visitors and families.
A Craft Hub/ The Market place:
This year we want to bring together those of you who are making handmade items. You might be a maker or a crafter, from knitting to soaps, candles, paper creations, digital prints or creating your own fashion pieces. We have been inspired by Handmade in Dagenham and we are inviting all of your makers out there to work together to share a space at the festival. It is a chance to build your networks and share knowledge and experience.
To be involved with this hub you must make your own work, and it is very much open to all levels of experience. We will bring everyone together who has registered below and shown an interest in this aspect of the festival in the Week Commencing 6th May 2019 – day and timing TBC.
The cost of the stall, normally £20 for local makers, will be put into a budget for you all to create a hub or market place of buzzing stalls activity, you might consider including tasters or demonstrations throughout the day. Want to be involved? We can’t wait to hear from you! Please complete the registration and tick the Craft Hub/Market Place box below.
