AJOS DANCE THEATRE
To deliver an ‘Artists Playground’ professional development event locally. This will act as research for the artistic development for this company who based in Barking.
Funding a series of workshops for people on the ‘Peaced Together’ programme, raising making skills in sewing, crafts with the development aim of establishing a Creative Crafts Enterprise.
Mentoring support, visits to archives, arts organisations, costs relating to testing out a pilot event for children and families to explore Black History in Black History Month.
Working with a group of mental health services users and ex-users, funding is to support organisational development costs; including visits to venues and marketing to increase group members.
STUDIO 3 ARTS
Funding is to undertake research, feasibility, scoping and relationship brokering for the future development of their new venue - The Galleons Community Centre. There is a small budget for capital purchases.
GREEN SHOES ARTS
To support organisational development; specifically developing a marketing strategy to raise the profile of Green Shoes Arts both within and beyond Barking & Dagenham. Funding is for a marketing consultant, website designer and materials costs.
Funding to pay for audience development, supporting a trainee who will be mentored by an Audience Development Consultant. Their focus will be audience development for their production ‘The Royal Duchess’.
